Heather - GENERAL MANAGER Homeschool mother of 4 rambunctious boys and avid beach-lover, you need a good roll of the dice to catch Heather at her desk (Hint: try using email). Being the boss' daughter does have perks, you know! Heather keeps the ship afloat managing marketing, employees, and everything in-between! She bears a very heavy load with a great attitude and grace. |
Dave - SALES MANAGER & USED GEAR PURCHASING After 30 years at Sailorman, Dave is a wealth of knowledge for anything marine related. In addition to selling, Dave is our used gear buyer and essential person to our crew's personality. He's adventured waters far and wide and can also connect you with pretty much anything you'd be seeking, from someone selling or even giving away a boat to parts or dockages and advice (he takes like 3 phone calls simultaneously and makes connections humbly and sincerely). He's the second most sought out person on the ship. DAVE CAN HELP YOU WITH: Buying your stuff, davits, windlasses, watermakers and large used gear items. |
John - OPERATIONS MANAGER & USED GEAR RECEIVING John wears two distinctly different hats... whether it's the day to day operations of the store and staff or the grueling task of tagging all the incoming used gear, John's corporate and yachting community history keep Sailorman running in tip-top shape. He's our numbers geek! |
Brian - FIRST MATE (FLOOR MANAGER) Brian wears so many hats at Sailorman--a master of many things, he's been with us for just over a year and manages day to day floor operations across the deck. This savvy Florida native also has experience in fresh water fishing but his willing and able attitude will direct you to whatever nautical treasures you seek. |
Jeff - PURCHASING & PARTS COUNTER Affectionately (well, historically) known as "Adaptos". Searching for that "hard-to-find" part? Odds are Jeff knows right where it lie having been with Sailorman since 2006 as our parts guy. These days you'll find this lifelong sailor behind his desk ordering our new store products to keep the goods a flowing. But the secret is... ask to be directed to his office and he'll find and order any marine part you seek. He also currently started doubling as a local Santa Clause in the winter so he also goes by "Jingle". |

Hattie - EMPLOYEE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION MGR. While not an actual employee, she's certainly part of the crew. Hattie voluntarily takes care of our employee birthday celebrations, cooks amazing hot dogs and chili at our events, makes sure that the gears are fully operational aboard our ship, brings us our bird and makes sure that our captain is happy and presentable. Our busy bee is always working on some store project. |
Amanda - COMPTROLLER/OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR Amanda is a mom of two, part-time mermaid and small boat owner who knows the store in and out as she's been aboard our ship for many years! Count on her to help Sailorman run smoothly from balancing the books to providing amazing customer service to all of our patrons with a strong, warm smile while balancing anything and everything tossed her way! This wonder woman loves the ocean and motor sports, tending to her plants and she'll figure out just about anything keeping the boys on their toes. |
Angie - WEB MANAGER, MARKETING ASSISTANT & RANDOM THINGS DEPT. Angie remotely helps us bring in the traffic and takes our Sailorman store into the virtual world connecting us with seafarers from around the globe while she travels to distant ports. She also does store graphic design, signs, Aloha Fridays, PR, SEO, organizing events, and random things. Every so often she re-boards the ship to aid in random store projects and fun. |
Tony - SALES/PARTS DEPARTMENT Meet Tony, our salty sea dog with a tale as adventurous as the rolling waves themselves! Originally hailing from North Hampton, England, Tony's been calling Johannesburg, South Africa home since he was a wee lad of 5. With a lifetime spent chasing the horizon, he's owned and lived aboard not one, but two fine vessels: a 1994 Peterson 33 racer and a Gib-Sea 38, cruising 'round from Cape Town to Brazil, then to St. Martin, and finally dropping anchor in sunny South Florida. There, he charted a new course, kick-starting Wynne's Marine, where he's mostly been commissioning those sleek Cabo Rico sailboats. Tony's not just a whizz with all things marine or a seasoned scuba diver; he's also got a heart as big as the ocean, known far and wide for his love and care of all creatures great and small. Skyler - CUSTOMER SERVICE/ONLINE SALES Allow us to introduce you to the multi-talented Skyler, or Skye as we fondly call her, the vibrant soul behind our in-store artistic endeavors, customer service charm, and online sales! Though hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Skye's been a Florida native since she was a mere tot of 2. While still getting her sea legs in the boating world, Skye's got a love-hate relationship with the vast ocean and its enigmatic depths, preferring the calm embrace of lakes and freshwater havens where she spent her days fishing with her father and enjoying her grandpa's boat and jetski. Skye loves crafting, singing, and dogs! |
Rachel - RECEIVING Rachel has rejoined the Sailorman crew after returning from a few years in Georgia. She's has quite a bit of powerboat experience and product information. Having worked at Sailorman in the past for 14 years as our cashier and then receiver this gal knows the store and our products in and out. This animal loving power-boater also enjoys air boating in the glades and flats fishing. |
Troy - SALES Our friendly and charismatic Jersey shore crew member Troy was born and bred with a deep love for the ocean coursing through his veins. A childhood spent outdoors, living by the river, and soaking up the sun at the ocean and lakes, he's a true water enthusiast through and through. Troy's not just about enjoying the sea breeze; he's all about sharing his passion and expertise with our patrons, helping them navigate the waters and find exactly what they need at the best possible deal. And when he's not busy at Sailorman, you'll catch him adding a dash of his fun personality to boat charters and marine detailing gigs. |
Bob - SALES One of our new additions to the crew is straight outta Laurence Harbor, New Jersey! This free-spirited guy's been crabbin', clammin', and accidentally playing Marco Polo in the Raritan Bay since way back when! Now he's been kickin' it down in South Florida for 18 years, slingin' paint, fiberglass, and detailin' boats like a pro. With a solid 15 years under his belt workin' on yachts up in Long Island, New York, Bob's got the salty know-how to tackle any sea-worthy task! |
Elyse - CASHIER Another Jersey native, this crew member's connection with the sea runs deep within her very being. As a kid, she was already mastering the art of sailing, canoeing, and boat crew duties. In 2002, Elyse purchasing her boat "MyPoem" and set sail to Annapolis, numerous islands, and the Florida Keys. As a seasoned sailor, Elyse's talents extend far beyond the helm – she's a master at provisioning, cooking aboard, and maintaining her vessel. With a passion for long-distance sailing and a spirit that's always ready to follow the wind's call, Elyse is eager to explore new horizons and sail across oceans. In her free time you'll find her baking, cooking, singing, playing games, lounging on beaches, traveling, diving into movies and books. |
Tana - SALESFLOOR ORGANIZER | GENERAL HELPER Californian sailboat live-aboard Tana is onboard part-time. She rows and then bicycles to work twice a week. You will find her throughout the store happily organizing. (She is a natural!) Tana considered herself a Sailorman groupie prior to her hire and is happy to be a part of the crew as she learns and adapts to single woman sailboat life. She is both eager and willing to help and has risen to Poseidon's challenges. |
Carlos - SALES | se habla español ¡Saludos desde La Habana, Cuba! A true maestro of all things mechanical. With his years of expertise running an auto machine shop, there's no engine he can't tame nor motor he can't fix. He's got a laid-back, humorous personality that brings joy to all who meet him. His motto? "Slow down and enjoy it," and he lives by it, savoring every moment to its fullest. Carlos is a true son of the sea, owning a Condor 40' trimaran. In the marine world, Carlos has experience hull cleaning, repairs, and customizing boat canvas. On land, Carlos is a true motorcycle aficionado who used to love cruising through the Florida Keys on his personally customized Harley Davidson. |
